Full Time Teller

Oxford Bank & Trust, Your Most Convenient Bank, is looking for a Full Time Teller for the branch at 6495 South Cass Ave in Westmont. If you are an enthusiastic, service-oriented individual, Oxford Bank may be the place for you. Responsibilities:

  • Balance cash drawer daily with accuracy and efficiency
  • Understand and comply with Bank policies and procedures and applicable laws & regulations
  • Take personal responsibility to learn and continually improve as a Teller
  • Welcome Oxford customers and connect with them at a personal level
  • Provide a Raving Banking Experience and WOW each customer and visitor
  • Take appropriate action to resolve customer concerns with tact and diplomacy

Requirements:

  • Valuable customer service experience
  • Previous Teller/Banking experience is a PLUS
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Ability to perform job functions accurately with consistent high attention to detail
  • Strong basic computer skills & Aptitude for mathematics
  • Spanish Speaking is a PLUS
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as an upbeat, positive attitude
  • This flexible 40 hour per week position requires the ability to work a schedule that will vary from week to week

MUST be available to work flexible schedule as Oxford is open during the following hours:
Week days from 6:45am - 7:15pm
Saturdays from 6:45am - 3:15pm
Sundays from 9:45am - 2:15pm

Oxford Bank is open 7 days a week.

Vice President, Operations Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our Operations Department located in Itasca, Illinois. The Operations Manager is a key member of Oxford Bankís Leadership Team and plays a significant role in the growth of Oxford Bank & Trust. The Operations Department consists of a Call Center, Bookkeeping, Wire Transfers, Check Image Processing and Statement Processing. The successful candidate will have recent supervisory experience in an Operations Department in a Community Banking environment, as well as passion for leading, inspiring and training others. This individual supervises the daily operations of the Department and is primarily responsible for ensuring excellent service to internal and external customers. As a role model, the Operations Manager will consistently demonstrate Oxfordís Core Values.

This individual manages all aspects of the bookkeeping, accounting, check image processing, wire transfer, debit card disputes and call center departments. They coordinate activities involving internal operationsí including but not limited to; reviewing ACH, wire transfers, correspondent bank accounts and general ledger accounts. This person will advise and interpret policy and procedures for operational departments and make necessary changes to ensure efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Operations Department
  • Lead, coach, and train staff in the development of individual & team success
  • Complete & conduct performance evaluations and administer disciplinary actions
  • Manage training and development of staff in regard to bank policies, procedures, and operational integrity as well as all banking regulations
  • Ensure that efficient and proper internal policies, procedures and controls are continuously maintained for all work performed and develop new procedures when needed
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues and requests from Oxford’s internal/external customers, which may involve in-depth research and a comprehensive knowledge of all products and deposit regulations and laws
  • Effectively communicate with other managers as well as employees when appropriate
  • Resolve customer concerns with tact and diplomacy to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Constantly exercise confidentiality with customer information
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations and Bank policies and procedures
  • Identify problems and areas for improvement
  • Handle problems as they arise in an efficient and timely manner
  • Schedule staff according to department needs through the ADP EZlabor system
  • Takes personal responsibility and ownership to learn and continually improve in all aspects of this position

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 5 to 7 years recent supervisory experience in an Operations Department in a Community Banking environment
  • Strong experience and proficiency with FIS-IBS Insight System
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong aptitude for learning Bank systems
  • Exemplary listening & customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills:

Senior Commercial Loan Specialist

Oxford Bank & Trust is looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Loan Specialist for their Commercial Real Estate and Commercial & Industrial Departments located at their Corporate Office in Oak Brook.

The selected candidate for this position will have a minimum of FIVE to SEVEN years of experience in a small to midsized banking environment performing Commercial Real Estate and Commercial & Industrial loan processing from the inception through the closing of each loan.

This position is responsible for Documenting/Funding/Closing Commercial and C&I loans. In addition, they must also have a professional demeanor, be detail oriented and be able to interact confidently with Commercial Lenders & customers. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare loan documents using Laser Pro Closing
  • Close Commercial Real Estate and Industrial Loans
  • Prepare all paperwork for booking loans to include: HMDA, CRA, Flood and Patriot Act
  • Add tickler tracking to the boarding date for items to be tracked
  • Prepare paperwork for loan advances, construction draws and payments
  • Prepare payoff letters, release deeds & letters of credit
  • File UCC's on line  and help with UCC continuations
  • Update and maintain loan files and collateral files
  • Order title commitments, tract searches and flood certifications
  • Review title commitments to ensure there are no exceptions unacceptable to the bank
  • Identify and clear exceptions for closings
  • Contact title companies to get final title policies
  • Prepare closing instructions/transmittal for lenders
  • Calculate escrow payments
  • Work closely with lenders to gain an understanding of key structural issues per loan
  • Work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail in all aspects of the job, especially in compliance

Requirements and Qualifications:

Attention to detail and a strong knowledge of compliance is paramount for this position. Candidates for this position must be comfortable communicating with and taking direction from Commercial Lenders, The Document Team Leader and must easily develop strong working relationships with members of the Commercial Lending Team.

  • Proficiency creating Commercial and C&I documentation in Laser Pro, with Microsoft Office and the internet is required for this position, no exceptions
  • Candidates must be deadline oriented and must be self-directed and extremely effective when working independently, yet equally comfortable when working as part of a team
