Who and What is Oxford Bank?
Oxford Bank has a long and storied history beginning with its opening as the Addison State Bank in Addison, Illinois in 1902. The original facility remained open for 56 years until replaced by what is still our branch on Addison Road . The bank remained a one location small community bank, and had grown to just $50 million in assets in its first 75 years. A second Addison location was added in 1980 and the bank grew more quickly reaching $125 million in assets at the 90 year mark in 1992.
Since 1992 the bank has really taken off. New ownership and management arrived and our very first state of the art branch was built in 1998 in Naperville. We have now grown to more than $500 million. The corporate office was moved to Oak Brook in 2005. Additional new branches have been opened in Westmont, Plainfield, Addison, and Naperville with more planned in the future.
We are especially proud of the level of customer service we offer when compared to any other financial institution in the market. We are a group of 185 raving maniac employees who love making our customers happy! Together we have achieved our goal of offering our customers the best hours, best products, and best services available.
